Finding The Groove events are multi-media concerts that will feature the musical performances and stories of young musicians from diverse cultural and regional backgrounds who are on a path towards finding their own “groove.” The concerts will be presented in conjunction with major Symphony Orchestras, Symphony Halls, Universities and Community Arts Organizations from around the country.
World Premiere State of Indiana 2008
Kids who live in Indiana:
If you are 7-12 years old and are an instrumental musician, composer, singer songwriter or vocalist of any style or genre --
Get Ready, cause this fall of 2008, the world premiere of finding the groove concert series will be hosted by the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and Music For All. They will select the coolest and most amazing videos to be part of a multi-media show. And, best of all, they may just invite you, your band, your musical friends or family to come join us live onstage maybe even with one of our real full size symphony orchestras.
We’re checking out your videos now, so far so great, and we’ve got room for lots more. Go practice hard, and sign up now to upload your video and be a part of Indiana’s network of Groove-Finders.
